Abundant WellBeing is a non-profit organization dedicated to embracing the loving spirit and “One Light in All”. Led by yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist Nischala Joy Devi, an internationally recognized advocate and innovator in the ways of expressing yoga and its subtle uses for spiritual growth and complete healing.
With a blend of western medicine and Yoga, Nischala has offered her expertise in developing the yoga portion of The Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease, and co-founded the award-winning Commonweal Cancer Help Program.
Their flagship program, Yoga of the Heart®, is a training and certification program for Yoga teachers and health professionals designed to adapt Yoga practices to the special needs of people with heart disease and cancer.
Project Requirements
Abundant WellBeing required us to aid them in the expansion of their site in order to better reach a growing international audience while setting up a calendar and schedule they could easily maintain as they teach physical programs all over the world. They were also in need of creating an alphabetized listing of all past and future teachers and graduates of their Yoga of the Heart® training program along with a searchable directory with the ability to narrow the search filter by country, state and city.

Strategy
The Interplicity team worked closely with Abundant WellBeing to capture the essence of their brand and create a custom designed site that embodies Nischala’s core vision and principles to the fullest. The goal was to transform the present website from something static into a dynamic self-reliant and self administered site that is easily maintained and updated by any number of their current or future volunteers and supporters. In addition to their immediate needs of their core site, we also took into consideration the long term planning requirements to support a stable foundation to facilitate multilingual online learning of their upcoming courses and workshops.
Results
While delivering a beautifully customized site that is both easy to navigate and maintain, we assisted them in configuring a unique E-Commerce shopping cart connected to YogaHub where all the sales are processed and fulfilled, taking away the burden and administrative work of storing and shipping physical goods, allowing them the freedom to focus on their core strengths. We also setup the automated delivery of an email series entitled, The Secret Power of Yoga, a weekly email which acts as a lead generator from the home page and delivers a 52 week series of yoga sutras in a bite sized format.
